Required Actions

ÌýComprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) model:

Schools that are part of the Comprehensive Support and Improvement model must complete the following actions:

  • Conduct annual surveys of parents, staff, and students.Ìý For more information, visit theÌýSurveysÌý±è²¹²µ±ð.Ìý
  • Complete a Needs Assessment led by a team of stakeholders from the school. For more information, visit theÌýNeeds AssessmentÌý±è²¹²µ±ð.ÌýÌý
  • Develop, in consultation with parents and school staff an annual School Comprehensive Education Plan (SCEP) that is submitted to Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵ for approval. For more information, visit theÌýImprovement PlanningÌý±è²¹²µ±ð.Ìý Ìý
  • Identify an evidence-based intervention to be included within the annual improvement plan, visit theÌýEvidence-Based InterventionsÌý±è²¹²µ±ð.Ìý
  • Participate in support organized through Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵.
  • Implement a process designed to support parent and student participation in decision-making through a Civic Empowerment Project.ÌýÌý

Schools in the CSI model are also eligible to participate in Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵'s Supplemental Support Programs.ÌýÌý

Additional Targeted Support and Improvement (ATSI) model
Targeted Support and Improvement (TSI) model

Schools that are part of the Additional Targeted Support and Improvement model or the Targeted Support and Improvement model must complete the following actions:

  • Conduct annual surveys of parents, staff, and students.Ìý For more information, visit theÌý³§³Ü°ù±¹±ð²â²õÌý±è²¹²µ±ð.Ìý
  • Complete a Needs Assessment led by a team of stakeholders from the school. For more information, visit theÌýNeeds AssessmentÌý±è²¹²µ±ð.ÌýÌý
  • Develop, in consultation with parents and school staff an annual School Comprehensive Education Plan (SCEP) that is submitted to the district for approval. For more information, visit theÌýImprovement PlanningÌý±è²¹²µ±ð.Ìý Ìý

Schools in the ATSI model are also eligible to participate in Ë®¹ûÅÉAV½â˵'sÌýSupplemental Support Programs.ÌýÌý

Target DistrictÌýRequired Actions

  • All Target Districts are required to develop an annual District Comprehensive Improvement Plan (DCIP) informed by school-level needs assessments and SCEPs completed within the district.Ìý
